Moulder — Milton Keynes

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Milton Keynes, England. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling 4+ years on the tools preferred. £2,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
