Argon welder — Volusia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Volusia County, Florida. Your main tasks: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage 1+ years on the tools preferred.
