Gang bricklayer — Hidalgo County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Hidalgo County, New Mexico. You will be based at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks On a typical shift you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
