Requirements: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth Day-to-day duties: • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
