Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Marshall County, Minnesota. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level The role involves keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors.
