Join our team: we are hiring a QC inspector in Jasper County, Illinois. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating and night shifts • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits On the job you will handle: • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
