Crane rigger • Umatilla County, Oregon

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in Umatilla County, Oregon. You will work at a busy construction site. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
