Tig welder — Elmore County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Elmore County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Day to day you will run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
