System scaffolder — Cheyenne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system scaffolder in Cheyenne County, Kansas. The job is at a commercial fit-out project. Day-to-day duties: • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Plumb the standards and level the ledgers with a spirit level • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms 4+ years on the tools preferred.
