The role involves feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
