Immediate opening: marble fixer (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a marble fixer in Nevada County, California. You will be based in a natural stone fabrication unit. On a typical shift you will lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting; fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site; seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of epoxy resin filling and colour matching • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
