Excavator operator wanted in Ibadan North

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Ibadan North, Oyo State. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Your main tasks: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
