Bricklayer — Comanche County

Join our team: we are hiring a bricklayer in Comanche County, Oklahoma. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
