Ironing operator — Roane County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Roane County, Tennessee. You will work at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory On the job you will handle: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
