Bodywork technician — Jefferson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bodywork technician in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Requirements: • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop On the job you will handle: • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
