Tig welder — Union County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Union County, Arkansas. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
