Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Henry County, Alabama. On a typical shift you will operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank. Requirements: • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts.
