Fabricator-welder — Ori Ire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Ori Ire, Oyo State. You will be based at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Rotating shifts.
