MIG welder — Chester County

Join our team: we are hiring a MIG welder in Chester County, South Carolina. You will be based on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints 6+ years on the tools preferred.
