Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Shani, Borno State. Day to day you will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
