Sand plant operator — Maiha

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Maiha, Adamawa State. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
