Ideal candidate: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain The role involves: • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean Full-time, day shift.
