Great opportunity: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Ontonagon County, Michigan. You will be based in a bread factory. Day-to-day duties: • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Full-time, day shift.
