Join our team: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Adair County, Iowa. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron You should have: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Full-time with occasional weekends.
