Immediate opening: road roller operator (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a road roller operator in Calhoun County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
