Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Broome County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Full-time, day shift.
