Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Power County, Idaho. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
