Bricklayer wanted in Stephenson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Stephenson County, Illinois. The job is on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one 4+ years on the tools preferred.
