Mason's helper — Billiri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mason's helper in Billiri, Gombe State. The role involves bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator. Requirements: • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
