CO2 welder — Ottawa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Ottawa County, Ohio. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Day to day you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
