Foundry labourer wanted in Perry County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Perry County, Mississippi. Day to day you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
