Hoist operator — Roberts County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Roberts County, South Dakota. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. You will climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits Full-time with occasional weekends.
