Crane rigger — San Juan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crane rigger in San Juan County, Colorado. You will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay.
