Quality control inspector • Wayne County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality control inspector in Wayne County, Georgia. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. You will check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
