System formwork carpenter • Garrett County, Maryland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Garrett County, Maryland. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Able to read formwork and structural drawings You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement.
