Immediate opening: rigging foreman (Ondo State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Akoko North West, Ondo State. You will work at a container port. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles We offer ₦800 per hour plus benefits.
