Argon welding operator — Salt Lake County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Salt Lake County, Utah. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage On the job you will handle: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
