Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe lagger in Martin County, Florida. You will work at a cold storage facility. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing • Working-at-height certificate an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and specifications Your main tasks: • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
