Stainless steel welder — Laurel County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Laurel County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
