Gtaw welder — Cameron Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Cameron Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. On a typical shift you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
