Mechanical press operator — Laurens County

Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Laurens County, South Carolina. You will work at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
