Immediate opening: VMC operator (Michigan)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. You will set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 3+ years on the tools preferred.
