Shuttering carpenter — Abaji

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Abaji, Federal Capital Territory. Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking The role involves apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer ₦70,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
