Cnc setter-operator — Austin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Austin County, Texas. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
