Lathe programmer-operator — Chautauqua County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Chautauqua County, Kansas. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred On the job you will handle: • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
