Paint booth operator — Lafayette Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on an industrial coating line. On a typical shift you will reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat. Requirements: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
