Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Clay County, Kentucky. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. Requirements: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day to day you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; load and unload the deck oven with a peel.
