Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics Requirements: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
