Die-casting operator — Monroe County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Monroe County, Missouri. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $31 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
