On the job you will handle: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Full-time with occasional weekends.
